Shana Grugan is an artist working in acrylic.  She was born in Greenville, SC, and studied art at the University of Georgia (BFA, Drawing and Painting).  Shana continued her post-graduate studies at the University of South Carolina (MAT, Art Education).  She has taught art (K-12) in public schools throughout the Carolinas.  Beginning in 2017, Shana decided to pursue art after several years of teaching and starting a family.

Her work has been included in juried shows and art collectives throughout the Southeast.  A selection of Shana's work in available at The Collective, Dallas, TX, Big Sky Shop + Studio, Wilmington, NC, and Sunset River Gallery, Calabash, NC.  Currently, she works from her home studio in Pawleys Island, SC.
